And I love the recipe.....That's such a sweet story! And I love the recipe...just goes to show you how much FUN life is at that age. Oh to live with a child-like view of the possibilities of the world, as often as possible.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15740562889506321916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659313197127593972.post-34616332466316552312008-01-27T18:45:00.000-05:002008-01-27T18:45:00.000-05:00I loved reading this post. I have a five-year-old ...I loved reading this post. I have a five-year-old humor story to add. Although, this is more about misunderstandings...

When my now 10-year-old daughter was five, I talked to her about playing t-ball. I said, "You'll play with other girls and there will be bats and balls. It will be fun."

Addy said, "Bats, really?"

I said, "Yes, bats!"

She said, "Okay, I'll play."

About four years later, I discovered that she thought I meant live bats...you know the ones that fly and live in caves. Imagine how disappointed she was. She never voiced it till last year!

Needless to say, we had a good laugh about it then.

www.allynevans.blogspot.comAllyn Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01836010593995404252noreply@blogger.com
